How the Contest Works
The exact challenge can change month to month, but the entry process stays simple.
1. Check the Challenge
Review the featured species, dates, eligible waters and the scoring or measurement method posted for that month.
2. Document the Catch
Take clear photos. If the challenge uses length, girth or weight, the required measuring device or scale must be visible enough to verify the claim.
3. Log the Catch
Use the Log Your Catch page, select the correct age group and mark the entry as a monthly contest submission.
Contest Entry Standards
- The catch must be legally caught and possessed where it was taken.
- The catch date must fall within the posted contest period.
- Measurement or weight claims must follow that month’s verification instructions.
- Wakewright reviews entries before a winner is posted.
- Tie procedures and any geographic restrictions will be posted with each challenge.
Photo Limit
Submit 1–2 photos maximum per catch. That gives us enough proof and keeps the Bragging Board clean.
